Amazing Scene of Rainbow Above the Clouds

Canadian woman picked up this image, and she thinks it's just a beautiful view of clouds from an airplane window, and after seeing the picture turned out to be a rare snapshot of the rainbow from above the clouds. Melissa Rincen (51 years), was traveling by a plane from London to Honduras, when this photo was taken from the plane window over the Caribbean Sea.

Rincen also said "I noticed how shadows were cast on the Caribbean and thought it was such a beautiful scene I had to snap some shots. "When I saw the rainbow in the shot I was stunned - I'd never experienced anything like it and I doubt I ever will again."

Stunning Images For Agile Bats Hunting Moths And Drinking From Pond

Tripping the flight fantastic: Stunning images show agile bats hunting moths and drinking from pond,  These amazing shots capture the moment a Western bat glides silently in pursuit of prey with delicate wings outstretched and its small mouth gaping open.

The detailed shots were captured by wildlife photographer Michael Durham, in Deschutes National Forest near Pine Creek in Oregon, US. It shows the exact moment two bats - a speedy pipistrelle and a smallbrown bat - locate a flighty moth over an expanse of desert scrub and woodland.

Each image was taken in the late hours between 11pm and 2am by Durham, 49, who patiently waits for the creatures to appear - ready to snap them with lasers which trigger a high-speed shutter. He spots when a long-eared myotis bat skims the surface of a man-made guzzler, eager to scoop a mouthful of water in the muggy heat of the night.

Dutch photographer Wil Mijer has a similar series where she captures the miniature world of colorful tropical frogs.

Her vivid, dream-like macro images feature the tiny amphibians perched on toadstools, nestled in flower petals, and hanging out on plant stems.

In an interview with Bored Panda, the mother-of-three said she uses a Canon 40D camera and a 100mm macro lens, and takes each shot quickly to avoid affecting the frogs.

She added that she has always loved nature, especially small animals. “If you look into the eyes of the frogs, you instantly fall in love with them.”
