Vasily Klyukin, a designer and Russian businessman, has developed a luxury yacht designs inspired by life in all its elements, and is made of metal and glass. The basic colors are vibrant colors with a wonderful expanse of lights to stand out in the sea, such as icons on the blue carpet. In the following lines, Vasily introduces us to his masterpieces which chose each one of them a special theme.

The most striking design projects of Vasily Klyukin are "Nika" towers, 'Venus", "Comet Fortune", "Tulip palace", "Jungle Park", "Roses". In autumn of 2013 the Italian publishing house Skira published the 300-page album «Designing Legends» containing 50 concepts for the future towers, office buildings, museums and opera houses. Vasily was invited to hold autograph sessions around the world, including in New York Rizzoli and during the London Freeze.

Cracks and crumbling infrastructure become the backdrop for superheroes and other pop culture characters who interact with their surrounds in unexpected ways. He shares with Bulkka:

Since I come from Saint Etienne, an old industrial city which is now in reconversion, I have the need to make my city less “grey” and at the same time, funnier. Humor is really important to me. It’s definitely the most important element in what I do.

 

 

My main interest is giving importance to places and objects that people don’t notice anymore. I walk a lot every day and that’s how I get to find new attractive places with urban elements such as broken walls for example. When I see something interesting during my walks, I measure it and study it, and I come back later to make the collage. I prefer to prepare the drawings and drafts at home.

Matteo Albanese inciampato su sua strana idea Worlds per caso un giorno, mentre in cucina al lavoro.
